Our eLeaning ressources comprise interactive models, data applets and onlines tests. These have been employed for many years in mandatory undergraduate courses for all majors in the economic and social sciences. A new addition is a test platform that allows us to supply students in courses with hundreds of participants with randomized, individualized tests via the internet and have these tests graded by the computer.
When we participated in the Medida-Prix 2003, a competition organised by the ministeries of education of Austria, Germany and Switzerland to encourage the use of new media in university curriculums, a learning package called interactive macroeconomics, featuring modules developed at our institute, was voted the best entry from the economic and social sciences.
A very recent result of our eLearning activities is an interactive learning package on the macroeconomics of the financial crisis.
