They propose to design the introduction of the digital euro in a more restrictive way than the usual euros. This will allow the replacement of a large part of the Eurozone public debt without creating inflation.

Post-Pandemic Economic Outlook (SNF-Project)
The Swiss National Science Foundation has decided to support the project "Post-Pandemic Economic Outlook: Automation, Reshoring, Education and Growth" with a research contribution. The project starts at 1st of Apryl 2021 until 31st of March 2025. Dr. Maria Iordache-Bolboaca works on this project as a post-doctoral researcher.
"How much Keynes and how much Schumpeter?"
The European Economic Review has just published a sizeable macro-econometric model that Prof. Guido Cozzi has written with European Commission co-authors. By integrating Schumpeterian growth and New Keynesian economics, they find that the slow 2009 recession recovery resulted from the 2001 dot-com bubble crush innovation slowdown. The paper can be freely downloaded for one month here.
